The Voice Of The Soul

Sometimes the sound of our own voice can bring the greatest realizations.

I walked a few steps across the parking lot in my pretty party dress and handed the valet a $5 bill. As I slid into the sleek foreign SUV I thought , see we do still need paper money sometimes.  Life in 2025 is filled with these random juxtapositions.  A shift from old to new in a disorienting reordering.  These times can cause everyday routines to unsettle me where once they were so familiar.

The back of my mind is preoccupied with what inevitably will stay and what will go.  As past, present and future merge and dissolve in a distorted waltz, I try to fit in where time dissolves and energy keeps moving. Its as though life is gently colliding into a new fluid source, familiar to my present intuition, while unsettling to my current biological reality.  My unknowing, and my all knowing straddling energy fields.  The sensation causes something as simple as paying the valet to become relevant and require observation. There is a heightened awakening permeating earth. A collision of old and new, familiar and strange . It has inspired me to become an alert witness to this odd energy that has fastened itself to our planet.

Uranus is directing a Gemini epic, co starring Pluto acting with Aquarian flair.

My intuition tells me by the time the decade is over their performances will be Oscar worthy and their impact the root of a new world order and total reboot for mankind. Uranus will shock us into new places as Pluto demands we travel them in our own unique way.

 For now, the energy is just beginning its ascent but it will crank up into a revolutionary performance that will change us from inside out and leave us wondering where we have been taken to.   A dynamic reality show unfolding with unsettling speed and disrupting all our regularly scheduled programming. We will be forever altered by these times.

Change is the word. Shift is the buzz.  It is coming from a deeply personal resonance in our souls. 

We can feel energy buzzing in the external world like lightening released from the stratosphere and intentionally igniting a rush in our core.  A spark of joy and fear all at once. Sweet and sour anticipation.

This night I can feel it in the air. A palpable energy descending from the cosmos like a pall. You can almost see it in the air, a fine flat blanket of solid grey falling from above.  It is only visible, if you look hard enough with your 6th sense to see it.  Still and pregnant with electrical message it hangs above our din, in the balance between the old and new .  Asking and giving answers, at the same time.   Waiting and moving, dissolving and materializing but never fading or growing. It is just THERE, hanging in the ethers, always existing, never wavering.   Our realization of it does not change anything within it.  Our realization of it changes everything within us.

Most people are too busy, occupied by lamenting the old or fearing the new to identify this tension.  We may feel it,  but our everyday worries about keeping up or holding ourselves all together, overrides any deeper focus on it.   Contemplation on what is going on in the world energetically, requires a band width most people simply don’t have these days.  

But this incoming tide is persistent. It requires us to sit in it. It hangs over us waiting to be noticed and seen.  In that, it is not so different from every one of us.  When we finally confirm its existence and open to feel this energy, it becomes the space where we become confirmed, noticed, and seen.  It is not to be feared, it is in fact a divine guidance system that links with our intuition like an inter conscious portal of higher dimension. Once we begin to acknowledge the presence of this energy we don’t feel alone, we feel part of something on a strange level.  The familiarity beckons us while the unknown puzzles us and yet our fear slowly ebbs as we begin to play within this sphere. Our instinct resists this new dimension as our intuition can not deny it. But then, isn't that always the dance before we give way to integration. "The hell no we won't go" waltz, as our feet move towards the very thing we wish to assign non existence to.

Being enlightened to fear not as a warning of danger but as a curious bedfellow of evolution is part of this portal.

Dropping former dictates about our emotions and nervous system is necessary for entrance to this cosmic gateway of the new human.

I adjusted my seatbelt and realized the car seemed more quiet than usual as I drove the dark curvy roads. Probably because my work colleagues and I were noisy and laughing loudly back at the restaurant.  Summer sunsets, cocktails and good food loosened our tongues and created a warm vibe.   Once alone silence wrapped around me and my thoughts turned to  deeper things.  As I often do, I checked in with myself.   I scanned my body for energy, to see where sensations would bring me.  Navigating the turns in the road my thoughts became nostalgic.  I thought about the twists and turns of life that brought me to this moment and all the ups and downs that have led to my contentment with life.

Stopped at a light, I searched for music to keep me company. I spotted a playlist I hadn’t listened to for a very long time , maybe 10 years or so and I hit start on the display.   As the beautiful notes of a soft rock ballad filled the car, I remembered how meaningful these lyrics and tune were years ago.   They were still beautiful and moving, but they felt  different. They didn’t land the same as they did years ago. I waited for the emotions to come that the tune always elicited in me but they weren’t there..

The song was the same, lyrics and melody frozen in time as recorded, but I was too changed for them to resonate with me.

The song felt kind of empty. I was no longer attached emotionally to it. I noticed the shift. I had outgrown the phase associated with that time long ago when it was "my song".   I realized in that moment that music moves us by its interaction with our own frequency.  Our frequency changes constantly, over time, over experiences…over our life. It all comes and goes, our loves, our attachments, our connections.

I drove on feeling a bit unsettled on these thoughts. I was a bit disappointed , I thought the old songs would bring me more pathos. When I had hit start on my long dormant play list earlier,  I expected these once deeply soulful songs that I aligned with 10 years ago to still deliver heart stirrings.  When the playlist didn't still "play me", I felt disappointed and lonely.  

I felt the pall. The blanket that hovers over earth now. That ever present energy of change constantly hanging over us in the ethers now. That cloud of shift, heavy and light at the same time, always in our energy field. Even though we live in the ebb and flow of noticing it; it is there buzzing, humming at the edge of our reality.   My intuition mingled with the energy in the car, with my thoughts and what emotions were rising and I knew there was messaging involved somehow in these moments. I could feel the connection.

I felt connected to Spirit , as I always do when in my own company, so I asked creator the emotional questions that had come to mind and the I released them and  let them fly up to Him.

Did nothing ever stay the same?  In a world where everything around us is changing and chaotic, where is stability? What can I rely on to be unchanged?  

I drove on and listened to the pretty songs while I continued to focus on the road, my mind on nothing particular.  As the night wrapped around me, so did Spirit. I could feel my connection growing as the communion between me, my intuition and God grew stronger and it eased my loneliness. A few minutes later, I found myself singing along with the music. My voice sounded like it used to back then , squeaky and off tune, but I was pleased with myself that I still remembered every word of each song.

When I heard my voice fill the cabin of the car, the answers came through .

Have you ever really listened to the sound of your own voice? Just listened. Without criticism or judgement. I started to hear my voice from a pedestal of impartial observation. It began to ground me.
Out loud my voice sounded different than it did in the past.  The sound of me was stronger, less emotional. Although, less intwined with the tune energetically, it was still MY voice, familiar and unchanged. I heard nuances that made it seem different than the way I had ever heard it before. As I sang off key I felt a deep connection and love for "me", for the strength and companionship I shared with this voice. My expression - Changed, unchanged, realized, confirmed, deeply loved and stable - my voice- my essence. My voice = me. My friend.

I realized my frequency was changed but my soul remained unchanged. My voice is the expression of my soul.

I realized that while our frequency changes a part of us remains unchanged. The core essence of us - our soul space is constant. We may say “I’m a different person now” to describe our life journey, this is because when change occurs so does our frequency change. We become different in feeling and beliefs. But our soul is not changed, it is realized. It was always there.  Our frequency changes by the measure of our soul realization.  And as humans our deepest soul expression is our voice.

The sound of my own voice resonated with the space deep in my core. When I heard it as a symbol of what is unchanged within the deepest recesses of me, the sound brought me to the most unchanged and familiar part of myself. I had learned so much and become more aware of my soul in the 10 years since I had listened to the old playlist. I no longer resonated with the old emotions attached to the music because I was vibrating in a different frequency now.

My soul is more realized now than it had been back then.   It may seem louder and stronger to me, but it is as it has always been. It is unchanged - it is me who has realized its energy. As I continue on my journey to connect more deeply to my soul it will grow louder and more intwined with me but it will be my awareness of its energy that deepens that connection. That's how the journey to personal power works. We must be open to receive the energy to see what its truth and realness is.

Many are experiencing an impending "Something big is going to happen " feeling.

The next time you begin to feel this palpable energy in the world - this change coming - this impending shift - know the feeling is real and not some impression of your nervous system. It is a beckoning an awakening for us all to realize- The change coming is within us.

 We may be experiencing this blanket of energy, this "pall" as a way to heighten our awareness not for an external purpose but to push us to commune with our internal power as a way to intuit a deeper understanding of our own ability to self source. This energy is stimulating something that lives in us. 

We understand that all cataclysmic world events have a residual effect of elevating humankind to a deeper awareness of compassion and love. Perhaps if we take responsibility to do the work to embody deeper love there would be no need for the impending "something" we are all feeling to happen. We can bring the change without the need for an event if we all allow a shift within ourselves individually. Change does not have to come from suffering. It is possible to simply take a leap of faith and open to a new realization of the unlimited power we have to love and put love where there is none.

Maybe the energy hanging around us is simply PLUTO IN AQUARIUS saying " Embody your individual soul space".

What if this living breathing energy, this pulse of change that throbs with electricity and has life. is here to wake us all up? The energy of this global shift hangs over us all in the ethers now and we can feel it.  It's power to break apart and dissolve the structures and constructs we have relied upon is terrifying and fascinating. We are being shown that we do not need these tumbling and decaying things for stability. Their dissolution is the catalyst for this realization. True stability has always lived within each of us individually. It lies in the voice of our soul. We just have to realize it, confirm it and listen to it. 

Just like the way my old playlist was an attachment I used to bring me to certain emotions, I didn't really need it anymore. Nothing is as powerful as my own voice to do that. All I need is within me.

This blanket of energy, this palpable portal that hangs over us is an unrelenting force daring us to collapse inward and find out what we are truly made of. We can choose to resist or be vulnerable but either way this divine game of Truth or Dare will eventually disarm us all. We can't ignore the voice of our soul anymore. That era is over and a new one is descending on us.

We simply have to open to it. When we take the journey to integrate with this divine energetic shift we are returning to walk hand in hand with the power within our soul to live free of external influences and dictates. Simply acknowledging our spirit and allowing it to lead us to our truth is all that is required to navigate these times.

Let yourself be informed from within, not by the external voices surrounding you but by the sound of your own voice..  

That old playlist of mine still had life in it. It still had the ability to move me. But the songs from 10 years ago didn't move me through someone else's lyrics and melody anymore. This night I was moved by the sound of my own voice. Clear, strong and familiar as it brought me home.
